• Responsible for installation and repair of PLC controls, electronic and pneumatic components on compressor units, generator units, pump units and in MCC buildings.
• Troubleshooting of electrical control panels, generator control panels, generators and switch gears.
• Inspect existing panels to ensure proper function and application.
• Assist Field Service Crews with equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Assist in Control System Reviews.
• Job requires offshore and some out-of-town stay. Basic Qualifications: • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in PLC Programming and Troubleshooting.
• Possess an understanding of all applicable PLC codes.
• Any combination of education and experience which would be likely to result in the needed skills and abilities. Preference will be given to a high school graduate with technical school credits a plus.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Preferred Experience:
• Prior plant & offshore experience a plus.
• Control systems experience with oil field applications.
• Generator troubleshooting experience.
• Must be able to prioritize workload and organize tasks.
• Must possess excellent command of the English language in both written and spoken form.
• Must have strong communication skills with all levels of employees and customers.
• Must have good mechanical aptitude.
• Must be extremely aware of safety procedures and protocol.
